 - Psychology in and around us -



Dear colleagues,

   Days of Applied psychology is a traditional annual nonprofit international scientific conference organized by the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Niš, Serbia. The goal of the conference is to provide a spot where researchers in various areas of psychology can meet, present their research and exchange ideas.

The 13th Conference Days of applied psychology will take place on September 29th and 30th  2017, at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš (Ćirila i Metodija 2, Niš, Serbia).

The official topic of the Conference this year is Psychology in and around us. The planned forms of participation are: plenary lecture, symposium, oral presentation, round table dicussion, poster presentation, seminar and workshop.


Plenary lectures of the Conference are going to be:


Lenče Miloševa, Ph.D. Clinical Psychology, Full professor, Goce Delčev University Štip, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Macedonia – “Passive suicidal ideation as a risk factor for suicide: Are we Asking the Right Questions?“


Marina Palazova, Ph.D. Research Assocate, International Psychoanalitic University Berlin, German - ''Understanding Emotions in Words and Faces''


Nila Kapor Stanulovic, Ph.D. Full Professor, Faculty of Tehnical sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia - „Psychologist in masive crisis situations – challenges and limits“


Also, until now, two symposiums are accepted: Forensic psychology and "Mirror Mirror on the Wall" - Mirror Interview: Assessment and application.

   The conference program will consist of thematic sections: Social psychology; Educational psychology, Clinical psychology; Individual differences, multiculturalism and psychological measurement, Psychology of the new media; Psychology and art; Experimental psychology etc. Also, authors may submit papers in other topics of psychology, and thematic sections will be added accordingly.


Working language of the conference are English and Serbian.


Abstracts should be submitted by 25th of July 2017 through the conference website Abstracts should be at least 200 words long but not longer than 300 words. Abstracts should be written in good English. All abstracts will undergo a review process and authors will be informed on the status of their submission by August 15th. One author may participate at the Conference with up to three papers, but only once as the first author.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book. After the conference, full text versions of presented papers will be published in Proceedings book, after the reviewing process. These should be subimitted between October 1st and January 30th 2018. Full text papers should be written in English. Instruction for authors of full text papers will be posted on the conference website

Registration fee is 50,00 EUR or 6000,00 RSD and is charged per paper, on the name of the first author. Payment instructions can be found on
